“Whether you’re pushing your leg strength on the Rhino Belt Squat or testing your conditioning on the Echo Ski, both pieces are designed to expand what’s possible in your training.”

Rogue

Fitness Incentive has recently added and upgraded equipment that we’re very excited about, and we think you will be too.

Going Rogue

The Rogue Monster Rhino Belt Squat adds another powerful compound lower-body option to our leg machines on the training floor. Unlike a traditional barbell squat, where the load sits on your shoulders and spine, the Rhino attaches the weight to a belt around your hips. This placement allows you to train your quads and glutes heavily while keeping the spine relatively unloaded. Also, with the handles attached, you can push yourself to failure without fear of getting stuck at the bottom. The Belt Squat machine is unique from both our Squatlantis and the Squat Pro machines, as spinal load is a factor for both of them, but far less so for the Rhino.

For more advanced lifters, the belt squat works extremely well after heavy barbell squats to add extra leg volume without additional lower-back fatigue. For beginners or members building confidence with squatting patterns, the belt squat can also serve as a starting point for learning the squat movement, since the loading is stable and easier to control while still training the legs through a full range of motion. It’s a versatile tool that lets members continue progressing their lower-body strength safely and effectively.

More Rogue

We’ve also added the Rogue Echo Ski, a powerful conditioning tool that simulates the movement used in Nordic skiing. Unlike bikes or treadmills that primarily stress the legs, the ski erg is a full-body cardio machine, combining the arms, core, back, and legs into one fluid movement. Each pull drives force from the lats and core down through the body while the legs assist in generating power, making it both a cardiovascular challenge and a strength-endurance exercise. You can use it for steady-state conditioning, short high-intensity intervals, or as part of a metabolic circuit with strength exercises. For those competitive with their workouts, or training for events like a Hyrox, the metrics on the screen can also be paired with the Rogue App to review your performance over time!

All In!

We hope you enjoy these new additions to the training floor and take the opportunity to challenge yourself in your workouts. Whether you’re pushing your leg strength on the Rhino Belt Squat or testing your conditioning on the Echo Ski, both pieces are designed to expand what’s possible in your training. If you’d like to learn more or get hands-on training with these and other machines, schedule a session with an FI Personal Trainer.
