Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, that emphasizes the balanced development of the body. It focuses on building core strength, flexibility, and body awareness to support efficient, graceful movement. Fitness Incentive offers a variety of Pilates options, including reformer and mat classes with private and semi-private instruction. Our dedicated studio and our knowledgeable instructors will provide you with an unforgettable Pilates experience.
Non-Members are Welcome!
Mat class packages as well as private and semi-private instruction are available to both members and non-members. Here is some of what we offer:
Pilates Mat Classes
Pilates Mat: A 55 minute class designed to teach the principles of classic Pilates woven into a challenging mat workout.
Pilates Xpress: 45 minute class of Pilates foundations combined into a precise, flowing workout designed to give you the workout you need in a shorter amount of time.
Training on Pilates Reformer and Other Equipment
Circuit Pilates: Is a Pilates workout done on pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Tower, Pilates Chair and arc Barrel.
Private and Semi-Private Pilates Sessions:
- Private one on one sessions are the most effective way to learn, practice and perfect Pilates performance.
- Partner Training: Two people with one trainer. Advance your practice with a friend.
- Small Group Reformer: Groups of three to four people working on the Pilates reformer.
Pilates for Rehab
Pilates is a versatile and rehabilitative exercise system that is beneficial for a wide variety of conditions, including spinal and joint injuries as well as pre-and post- surgical conditions and more.
