Group Exercise…Nobody Does It Better!
If Fitness Incentive is “famous” for any one thing, it would be our group exercise program. We started as an “aerobic studio” way back in 1984, as one of the first facilities in the area to offer group fitness. Fast forward 35 years, and we have the most extensive group fitness program on Long Island, with over 160 classes each week. We have spent the better part of four decades practicing, learning, and evolving to become a leader in fitness and the science that drives member motivation and results. The group exercise program has grown into four unique studios, including Cycle, Studio Yoga, Pilates, and our Main Group Fitness room. However you like to train, Fitness Incentive has a class for you.
How To Prep
Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early to your first class and introduce yourself to your instructor. Your instructor will let you know what equipment you need for class and make sure you are comfortable and confident before you start class.
How To Choose A Class
It can be tough to know where to start with so many class options. We recommend starting with a time of day that works for you. Then you can view your class options by type and description. You should try to experience as many classes as possible. All classes can be modified for every fitness level. If you have any questions, stop at the front desk, and we can help you choose the best fit for you.
What To Wear And Bring
We recommend wearing any comfortable workout clothes – shorts or workout leggings and a tank or tee. Sneakers should always be worn in the group x studio. Make sure you come to class hydrated and bring water. If you forget, don’t worry – we have a water fountain and sell water in our cafe.
