Microblading

Want a natural brow look but don’t have the “natural” resources to pull them off (caused by many factors including age, alopecia, over tweezing, chemotherapy)? No worries, Incentives has the solution for you!

Microblading, also known as brow embroidery or 3-D brows, is the latest, semi-permanent procedure gaining popularity due to its unbelievably natural look. This procedure is ideal for anyone who is not happy with the shape or fullness of their brows, male or female.

Microblading implants pigment into the uppermost layers of the skin with a fine, disposable microblade. This tool, coupled with the shallow placement of pigment, allows me to create crisp hair strokes so fine they look completely natural.

This is how we do it…

To start, we apply a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. We then measure and draw an outline of the brows creating the proper starting arch and endpoints to enhance your features, followed by customizing pigment to match your brow hair. The procedure takes approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours from perfecting our template (drawing) to meticulously implanting each stroke from beginning to end.

A touch-up visit after six-weeks is common practice with all permanent makeup or Microblading because it is unpredictable how well each individual will retain pigment. In this visit, we will address shape and color and make any adjustments if needed. Due to the shallow placement of the pigment, this procedure lasts 12- 18 months. Some factors that contribute to pigment fade are sun exposure, use of topicals, and how your skin absorbs pigment. The difference between permanent makeup and microblading is the overall look and how long it lasts. Permanent makeup lasts 2-4 years but is not as crisp in appearance due to the placement of the pigment deeper within the skin.

Microblading is an extension of my 14 years of experience in permanent cosmetics. My knowledge and experience with skin, color theory, and a knack for measurement, art, and attention to detail are important factors that result in natural-looking brows. Please consider booking a free consultation where I would be happy to review all your options to make your brows just perfect for you!
