Group Exercise…Nobody Does It Better!

If Fitness Incentive is “famous” for any one thing it would be group exercise classes. We were founded as an “aerobic studio” way back in 1984, and our classes remain a core offering to this day. We have the biggest group exercise class schedule that you will find anywhere – over 160 classes a week. You read that right – 160! We have more classes in a day then most gyms have in a week, and the vast majority of which are included with your membership. We have four rooms that are dedicated to classes, so we can offer:

Classes that “Fit”
We have classes for every level of fitness, from first time real beginners right through the most advanced levels of fitness – and everything in-between.

To keep it interesting, we offer dozens of different class types, including Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, Zumba, Body Shred, Cardio Kickboxing, Sculpting, Step, and Rebounding, as well as plenty of “homegrown” class formats that were invented right here at FI, such as Circuit Burn, Jump & Drill and Killin’ IT! You name it, we’ve probably got it (or we soon will!)

Great Instructors
Ask anyone – our instructors are, quite simply, the best. Many have been with us for 10, 15, even 20 years (or more!). They’re experienced, energizing, caring professionals that make every workout safe, fun, and effective!

Our huge class schedule and multiple classrooms mean there’s always a class that fits YOUR schedule. Group Exercise Classes are available 7 days a week, from as early as 5 am through 8 pm.

Group Exercise Class Descriptions

Cardio, Sculpt, & Combination Classes

3D FIT: Based on Dr. Izumi Tabata’s powerful circuit training method. 3D-FIT is designed to burn fat, boost cardio endurance and athletic performance. Move through three dimensional, high-low movements.

Ab Attack: Intense, 15-minute abdominal workout.

Bodyshred: Taught by a Jillian Michael certified instructor. It is weight training infused with metabolic resistance training in a 3-2-1 format. 3-minute resistance, 2-minute cardio and 1-minute of active recovery.
Boot Camp: Basic military style training and drills. Intermediate level.

Bounce Camp: A fast moving class with rounds of high intensity intervals on the trampoline, bodyweight conditioning drills and weights.

Cardio Kickbox Strength: High energy advanced class that combines aerobic kickboxing moves, balance work, weights and intense drills.
Cardio Sculpt: Class starting on the step, moves to intervals of weights and step work.

Cardio Strength: Cardio workout including weight work.

Cardio TNT: Class of EXPLOSIVE cardio work on a low bench. Burn fat while having a blast!

Cardio/Kick/Drill: Cardio kickboxing class followed by drills to strengthen and tone the entire body.

Circuit Burn: High-intensity workout focusing on strength building and muscular endurance. Tone your entire body and build your cardiovascular capacity with this fun and intense circuit training class.

Core & Upper Cut: Intense upper body and ab work.

Dance Blast from the Past: Beginner dance aerobic class.

Elevated Training: Class with weights on a step with the choice of a higher bench, increasing the intensity at which you work. The class focus is on legs and 3 upper body parts.

For the Core:  Class designed to strengthen and develop your core body areas:  abs, back, and buttocks.

Hip Hop Dance: Fun, non-intimidating class based on Hip-Hop Dance Moves. Inspired by Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk and R&B music.

Insanity: Is a cardio-based total-body conditioning program based on the principle of MAX Interval Training. Designed to push participants to new training heights, resulting in more calories burned, faster results, and a more efficient metabolism.

Interval Training: Advanced class with intervals of aerobics interspersed with the body bar or light weights.

Killer Abs: 15 minute intense ab workout.

Killin It: Functional group training class that re-combines elements from multiple training sources, such as HIIT, Crossf-t, Bootcamp, Kettlebells and even Track & Field, into a something entirely new and unique.

Lethal Legs: Class of intense leg workout.
Plyo Yoga: A fitness format that focuses on high intensity intervals of plyometric movements coupled with basic yoga postures as active recovery for your muscles. This class will increase your strength, power, endurance, fast-twitch muscle response, cardiovascular health, core strength, and flexibility.

Pound: Full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming while fusing cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses.

Power Barre & Power Barre Blast: Pilates-inspired core warm-ups through barre work to condition the legs and glutes, utilize light hand weights to strengthen the upper body, and end with yoga-based stretching.

Pump & Jump: Class on the mini-trampoline alternating with light weights.

Pushin Plates: This class utilizes free-weight plates to enhance the calorie burn of cardio movements while increasing muscular strength and endurance.

Rebounding Strength: Cardio on the trampoline followed by intense leg, glutes, and ab work.

Sculpt:  Floor work class using the step, weights, and apparatus of the instructor’s choice.
SQUAT Team: Intense leg workout geared to lower body concentrating on glutes & quads.

Step: Class taught on an elevated bench.

Strength Challenge: High energy strength, core and cardio intervals that will tone and define your entire body.

Upper Armor: Intense upper body workout including core work.

Upper Cut and Core: Intense upper body and ab work.

Zumba: Party yourself into shape. It’s easy to follow, Latin inspired, calorie burning dance fitness.
