The Moment of Truth

January starts off with a bang, and we’re all motivated to set new goals, improve our fitness, lose some weight, and start eating clean.  We promise ourselves to get to the gym more often and to do better.  We indulged during the holidays, and now we are actually looking forward to making some positive changes.  So we focus and follow through.  We go to the gym every day or at least every other day.  We eat healthier, and we start to feel better.  We’re four weeks into it, but it’s a slow process.  But slow and steady wins the race, right?   And, after all, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

And then February hits. And even though we have started to make some progress, we’re not there yet, and motivation is starting to slack.  As we start to falter, we tell ourselves, “no worries, it’s still winter, it’s only February, and there’s plenty of time before we have to put on a bathing suit….right???  Absolutely true, but we’re starting to make excuses, and losing our focus and starting to lose sight of our goals.  And if we don’t get on track, we will fall short of our goals as summer arrives.  So what’s the answer?

If your headset is off and you’re keeping your ear to the ground at Fitness Incentive you’ve heard all the buzz and chatter about the “Contest.”  Everyone is talking about it.  Who’s in it, which trainers, what members, who are on your team, what are the prizes, when is the party, etc.  The “Contest”  everyone is chatting about is the 2018 Fantastic Four – Beach Body Edition – Contest!  FFBB for short!  So what’s it all about and why is it important to you?  Well, it could be exactly what you need to get on track and finally achieve your fitness goals this year!

The Fantastic Four contest has been taking place every spring for almost ten years.  The first contest was held in 2009 and was a huge success.  In the years since it began the annual contest has inspired hundreds of contestants to drop thousands of pounds and get in the best shape of their lives. The amazing results and experiences of each successive year have helped us to hone, sharpen and improve the contest experience for everyone.  This year we expect the contest to be one of the best ones yet!  So if you want results, need some motivation and help, here’s your opportunity.   Just say YES.  The FFBB may very well be a life-changing experience for you.  It has been for many.  You will learn just what you are capable of. There will be challenges, and it won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.  You will emerge a winner.  Each year every single person in the contest considers themselves a winner.  You will reach your goals.  You lose weight, body fat, and inches.  You will feel better. You will be leaner, fitter, healthier, happier, more energetic, and more fitness and diet savvy.  If that’s not winning, what is?  You will also have made some new friends among your teammates.  You’ll never feel alone at the gym again!  In fact, some of the team members from past contests became great friends both inside and outside the gym.  And they are still gym workout buddies.  A key factor to reaching goals is working out with a friend in a supportive community.

And then, of course, there are the actual prizes: thousands of “Reward Points” on the FI App. If you are lucky enough to be one of the winning teams or individuals the prizes are the “cherry on the top.”  But then you’re already a winner just by participating, aren’t you?

It’s time to decide…

Do it for you! Go for it! Give it your best shot!
