Pilates is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.
Fitness Incentive offers a broad range of Pilates, from classes to private instruction in a studio format. Our
dedicated studio and caring, certified instructors will provide you with an unforgettable Pilates
experience.
Non-Members are Welcome! Mat class packages as well as private and
semi-private instruction are available to both members and non-members. Call 631-587-5766 for more

Here is some of what we offer:
Pilates workshops and Master classes: A variety of specialized master
classes are offered throughout the year such as: Pilates for Beginners, Pilates for Golf, Pilates for
Osteoperosis, Pilates for Pregnancy etc. check schedule for special events listings.
Pilates Mat: A 55 minute class designed to teach the principles of Classic Pilates woven
into a challenging mat workout. This class combines a variety of movements and breathing techniques to strengthen,
lengthen and balance the entire body. Magic Circles, foam rollers, light weights and body bars may be used.
Pilates Xpress: 45 minute mat class…packs a punch…Pilates foundations combined into a
precise, flowing workout designed to give you the workout you need in a shorter amount of time. Magic Circles, foam
rollers, light weights and body bars may be used.
Training on Pilates
Equipment
Circuit Pilates: Pilates workout done on pilates apparatus
including the Reformer, Tower, Pilates Chair and arc Barrel. Pilates equipment generally utilizes
pulleys and resistance from the participants own body weight on the apparatus and graduated levels of
springs. Private, Partner and Small Group options
Private Pilates Sessions: Private sessions are the most effective way to
learn, practice and perfect Pilates performance. The instructor devotes undivided attention to a student's
specific needs and develops a customized program combining workouts on the mat and equipment to produce optimum
results.
Partner Training: Two people with one trainer. Advance your practice with a friend.
Small Group Reformer: Groups of three to four people working on the
Pilates reformer. This is a fun and social way to advance your pilates practice and completely
reform your body.
Pilates for Special needs: Pilates is such a versatile and
rehabilitative exercise system that is beneficial for a wide variety of conditions such as people with Spinal
and joint injuries as well as pre-and post- Surgical conditions and more.
