So What, Exactly, is Eat Smart? Eat Smart is the name we’ve given to a broad range of nutritional services that we’ll be offering. What they have in common is that they are all tailor made to your individual dietary needs and goals. Want to lose weight and inches? - of course we can help. But we can also help you to build lean muscle, reduce dietary risk factors, or just improve your ability to make sensible dietary choices. The flexibility of Eat Smart gives the program the potential to benefit everyone - or at least anyone who eats. Take a look at some of what Eat Smart has to offer. Eat Smart Dietary Analysis Dietary analysis is the first step in understanding your diet and how it may be effecting your weight management, health, and fitness goals. This analysis utilizes a detailed questionnaire that documents your diet and fitness for one to three days. After completing the questionnaire you will review the results with your Eat Smart Coordinator who will provide you with a full color nutritional profile showing the strengths and weaknesses of your current diet. This is a great place to start to build your nutritional IQ. Eat Smart & Stay Smart: The Diet Rx The “Diet Rx” is the key component of the “Eat Smart!” and “Stay Smart!” nutrition packages. It takes the basic dietary analysis as a starting point and then builds on it. Diet Rx includes: Full body composition analysis, individual recommended nutritional intakes, meal plans (with an exchange list), recipes, shopping lists, weigh-in, and a nutritional deficiency analysis. You’ll receive a full report of your current nutrition, as well as a comparison to the ideal. Stay Smart, the follow-up program to Eat Smart, re-visits the Diet Rx to provide new meal plans, a body composition retest, weigh-ins, and progress tracking of your results. Eat Smart Seminars Fitness Incentive will host monthly nutritional seminars discussing subjects such as current diet trends, the basics of nutrition, healthy eating hints, cooking tips, and other hot topics. For the best results you’ll need to lift more than your fork! Our “Jump Start!” program combines Eat Smart and Personal Training to accelerate your progress in both areas.
