Private Yoga & Pilates Instruction

The “Studios Within...”
Fitness Incentive is proud to offer one of Long island’s finest Mind & Body programs. Our Yoga program is a virtual “studio within” - a natural extension of our belief in a balanced approach to health, fitness, and life. Our dedicated studios and caring, certified instructors will provide you with an unforgettable Yoga or Pilates experience. Here is some of what we offer:
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa means “linked with breath”. Based on the Ashtanga system of Yoga, which is considered to be purifying, vigorous and strengthening. The emphasis is on proper body alignment and linking the of the poses with breath to create a moving meditation. This class is taught in a warm room to create external then internal heat.
Hatha Yoga: This system of Yoga is focused on developing strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Standing poses are emphasized.
Power Yoga: A challenging dynamic class of flowing poses designed to strengthen and lengthen your muscles.
Kripalu Yoga: This class is designed to stretch and tone the muscles, release tension, improve circulation, energize and refresh.
Essential Stretch: This is a 45 minute stretch class designed to induce deep relaxation and increase flexibility.
Pilates Mat: This is a 60 minute class based on the movements developed by Joseph Pilates designed to strengthen and elongate the muscles. Pilates utilizes many aspects of Yoga, stressing breathing, mental relaxation, and suppleness.
Pilates Reformer: This is a 60 minute class based on the movements developed by Joseph Pilates that utilize the reformer apparatus to enhance the training effectiveness.
Registration is required. Private and semi-private Reformer instruction is also available.

Fitness Incentive is dedicated to providing an outstanding mind-body experience. To that end, we have a dedicated Yoga/Pilates studio, and have group of outstanding, experienced instructors, each whom puts their own individual stamp on their classes.
