How Fit Are Your Kids?
At a time when the fitness of America’s children has become a cause for national concern, Fitness Incentive is proud to offer our FitKids Program. The program is managed by Eileen Jacinth, who in addition to holding multiple certifications in fitness, has her provisional certification in both elementary and secondary education. The programs that are being offered are described below.

Program Descriptions
The following classes represent typical classes that are offered in the FitKids program. Check the class schedule for the current classes.

Tiny Tots
Primarily 2 & 3 year olds
1. Participants will use active play to explore the world around them
2. Rhythmic and controlled movement will be a focal point
3. Props will be incorporated, ex. A parachute, balls, hoops
4. Through physical play, the children will develop their creativity, fitness, strength, coordination and motor skills
Pre-K
Primarily 4 & 5 year olds
1.Children will be encouraged to use active play both individually and as a group
2. Stretching, aerobics and basic conditioning will be a strong focal point
3. Balls, beams, hoops and an obstacle course are only a few items we will use
4. Fun and fitness is key in this class
FitKids 5-7, FitKids 8-12 FitKids Jr. High
1. Age appropriate fitness that includes:
Step, Rebounding, Cardio Kick Boxing, etc.
3. Obstacles and organized team play
4. Keep them fit and moving.
Spin City Jr.
Classes for  8-12 and 13-17. Height requirement must be met .
1. A great cardio workout, combined with strength conditioning as well
2. Good form will be key.
3. A strong focus will be on appropriate warm ups, cool downs and stretches.
4. A fun ride is our goal
Yoga
Primarily age 9 and up
1. Designed to promote strength and flexibility
2. A primary focus on relaxation techniques
3. Classic yoga positions will be taught
Pilates
Primarily age 9 and up
1. Designed to improve strength, flexibility and conditioning
2. Will aid in posture improvement
3. Will aid in elongating the muscles
